ATE 308 – Compact Condenser “Figure-of-Eight” Microphone
The Ambient Emesser (ATE 308) is a very compact true condenser “figure-of-eight” microphone intended to convert any boom mic on the fly into a M/S stereo system. It allows you to add a bit of stage to the dialogue but also capture textured room tones or even ambience sounds in pristine stereo without the need to change your setup whatever mic is in use.

While offering a remarkable frequency range from 20Hz to 18kHz the Ambient microphone only weights 30g.
With its lengths of 14cm and a diameter of less than 8mm the ATM216 is even smaller than most pens.
Thanks to it’s “hyper cardoid” directivity the ATM216 TinyMike captures crystal clear sound from the front while eliminating the ambient noise coming from the side.

The CCM 4 is Schoeps's best-selling compact microphone. It offers the highest sound quality, flat frequency response, optimal rejection of rear-incident sound, and a directional pattern that remains constant throughout the audio frequency range.

Like the CCM 41, the CCM 41V is useful in all situations with music or speech, either as “spot“ microphones or as overall directional microphones. However, this type of microphone is addressed from the side.
